Jack sat down to speak about playing Richard and what is to come for the character. The article is a interesting read. Jack said to not get too attached to any of the characters on the show because any of them can go.
“It was awful losing Michael Pitt (Jimmy Darmody) in the last episode. It’s the nature of the beast doing a show like this. No one is safe. Anyone can die. Rule number one is don’t get too attached to a character, anyone can go. The shock value of losing Jimmy was humungous. It was like losing my best friend, my confident, and the person who brought me back from death almost. Losing Michael as an actor has been very difficult as well because he’s a great friend, but we see each other every chance we get.”
I really love how he talks about the relationship he developed with Michael on the set, but I look forward to seeing what new relationships he develops along the way during the course of this season.
